My time out on the land most impactful was being able to spend a full day out with Grade 9's from Connect Charter out on acquired land by Sibbald lake in Kanaksis County. It was such an enlightening and refreshing day to be surrounded by the heights of the tree and the massiveness of the mountains. Everything was grand and scenic, it felt as if I was enveloped inside a little pocket, away from the rest of the world. There was an element of balance between the energy of all of us who were out there and the heaviness of stillness from the ground, as we sat/play/worked outside. The air was filled with the scent of pine and crisp air, which wasn't freezing, however, had a slight chill. The warmth of the sun created a nice balance with the slight chill.
