It was super beautiful to get outside and enjoy the autumn weather. A core routine of mine since the pandemic is to go for a walk just to due how much screen time I had with online school and help reground me as it can feel very disconnecting online. A thought that I had was how getting out in nature not only regrounds but recreates the connection that can be missing sometimes. Focusing on experiencing and recalibrating my senses. Today I couldn't help but pay attention to the colour that surrounded me from the trees and the contrast on the bright blue sky. It seems likes the trees would be out of place however they seem to just fit into the scenic walk. I passed some quaking aspen and now at the back of my mind, I hear the story of Kapi that the kids shared with me when we went to Fish Creek Park.
