Today I sat on top of the hill I climbed and looked over the whole park and pathway I routinely walk. As I sat up there I thought about how small I truly am as the sky reaches over the whole sky with no limits and the. I could see the city in the distance and it looked small as well, the towering building was a mere speck in the distance. This got me thinking about the tentativeness and fragile Calgary is compared to the Land. The ground and land are unconditional as it is cyclical in nature. The land naturally rebuilds itself and offers us all things we need to survive.  I felt really small and humbled by repositing myself in context to the land. The land has a way of making you rethink the scale and scope of our lives and what truly makes it meaningful and valuable.
